Huge congratulations to our Transition Year Future Leaders pupils from 2022/23. They did fantastic work throughout the year last year organising many events for pupils in the school, for the primary schools in our catchment area and of course the Hurling and Camogie Super 9’s. They really worked hard on these events and their efforts have been recognised at a national level in Croke Park. The school has been chosen as a Future Leaders Gold School. This is a remarkable achievement as we are one of only 7 schools chosen out of more than 300 schools. Some of the Future Leaders / GCS GAA Club committee members will be going to Croke Park with Mr. Crossan, Mr. Hanley and Mr. Madden on the 17th October to collect their award.
