Proud Moment for Gort Community School

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Gort Community School has been presented with an Exemplary Award Plaque in recognition of the outstanding work the school has carried out down throughout the years and the work that continues, in the area of Education for Sustainable Development in GCS.

This award celebrates the blueprint we’ve created through student-led initiatives, community collaboration, and a whole-school approach to sustainability. From promoting active travel and biodiversity to reducing waste and raising awareness to the ongoing war in Gaza, our commitment to an ethical, environmental and inclusive future is at the heart of everything we do. This award is a reflection of the passion and hard work of our dedicated students, staff, parents, and wider school community.
