A Multi-agency Drug & Alcohol Parent Information Evening takes place in the school on Tuesday April 1st @ 7.30pm.

The Western Regional Drugs Task Force (WRDATF) in conjunction with the Gardaí and HSE Drugs Service will be in attendance.

During the evening  the Gardaí will present the current situation with drugs in the region, the legal situation and what to look out for.

The WRDATF Education Worker will look at communicating with your children about drugs and will outline the drugs education programme that will follow later.

The HSE Drug Service will inform the parents of their services in the area.

The role of SPHE as regards alcohol and drugs will also be covered.

This information evening provides a valuable opportunity for parents to educate themselves around substance misuse.
