Seachtain na Gaeilge 2025
Bhí Seachtain na Gaeilge den scoth againn i bPobalscoil Ghort Inse Guaire. I rith na seachtaine, bhí gníomhaíochtaí ar nós Tóraíocht Taisce, Tae agus Plé, Ciorcal Cómhra, Céilithe, Tráth na gCeist, Rásaí Rothaíochta Mall, Comórtais Ealaíne, Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine agus go leor imeachtaí eile ar siúl. Chruthaigh daltaí ón Dara Bliain Crann an Chairdis lena nathanna dearfachta as Gaeilge. Ba mhaith linn buíochas ó chroí a ghabháil leis na scoláirí agus na múinteoirí ar fad a ghlac páirt agus a chabhraigh linn i rith na seachtaine. Bhí go leor buaiteoirí ó na gníomhaíochtaí éagsúla.

We had a fantastic Seachtain na Gaeilge in Gort Community School. During the week, there was activities such as a Treasure Hunt, Tea & Discussion, Conversation Circles, Table Quizzes, Slow Cycling Races, Art Competition, Irish speaker of the week and much more events on for the students. Second Year students created a “Crann an Chairdis” (Friendship Tree) with all of their favourite positive phrases as Gaeilge. We would like to thank all the students and teachers who took part and helped us during the week. There were many winners from the different activities. Well done to all! Thanks to the Irish Department for organising all these activities.
