Gort Community School is delighted to be taking part in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) Project today. A selection of our students will be assessed on their skills and knowledge across three domains: science, mathematics and reading literacy. Science is the main domain for the 2025 PISA cycle. Ireland will also participate in the new innovative domain called learning in the digital world. The PISA project compares students in Ireland with students internationally helping to identify ways to improve the educational system. With over 90 countries and 172 schools taking part, we are delighted that our school has been selected to participate in this innovative OECD project.
