Co-Ordinator – Mr. S. Robinson
This programme was introduced in the school year 1999/2000. Preparation For the World of Work The skills learned through L.C.V.P. such as planning, researching careers, writing reports, making presentations and working in a team are essential for adult life. The link modules are recognised for points by third level colleges.

Co-Ordinators – Ms. C. Neylon and Ms. S. Connolly
The Leaving Certificate Applied Programme is an alternative to the traditional Leaving Certificate Programme and has been in operation in our school since 1997 and has been very successful for the students who opted to take it. Who should follow the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme? a) Those who feel that the traditional Leaving Certificate does not suit them. b) Those who wish to take up apprenticeships with FÁS. c) Those who are interested in Cert/Teagasc courses. d) Those who wish to go directly into employment. e) Those who wish to do further study through Post-Leaving Certificate or other Vocational Courses. The Leaving Certificate Applied is not a suitable option for those who wish to transfer directly to third level education.
