There is a full time language support teacher for visitors to the country. The international students follow language support courses at the appropriate level so they can eventually settle into the mainstream courses.
The presence of national, cultural and language diversity within the school has added to the enrichment and education of both students and staff.
When there is sufficient fluency in English, these students get support with other subjects that may prove difficult at state exam level.
Efforts have been made to recognize days of celebration for various countries. The students have recently done readings in the local library in Portuguese and English. We have had an end of year integrated excursion to an adventure centre to award good work and behaviour.
